One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. As the U.S. population ages, the financial and societal burden of dementia will grow. NPF is offering a four-day training program on all facets of dementia, including the latest research, diagnostic tools, treatment, economic impact, caregiving and high-tech apps for patients.
The training will be held April 28-May 1 in Washington, D.C.
The all-expenses-paid fellowship covers airfare, ground transportation, hotel costs and most meals. NPF offers this professional development opportunity for journalists to enhance skills, increase knowledge and recharge their reporting on one of today’s most critical issues. This program is for U.S.-based journalists only.
Deadline to apply is February 25, 2019.
Support for this program is provided by AARP.
