Public Notice Day is March 13! Here are three ways to get involved

The Florida Press Association will be holding the second annual Public Notice Day on Wednesday, March 13, in Tallahassee.

Here are three ways you can participate and show your support:

Public Notice Day Lunch
On March 13 at noon, there will be a lunch with guest legislators. Tickets to the luncheon are $40. Purchase tickets here.

Meet with Legislators
You are encouraged to set meetings with the legislators from your district on this day, as the members of Florida’s news media comes together to make their presence felt in Tallahassee. (Find your state representative here and your senator here.)

There will be a legislative training session at 4 – 5 pm Tuesday, March 12 that will provide details about the key talking points and answer any questions, with a reception at 5 pm.

Run Public Notice Day Ads
We have created a set of eighth, quarter, and full page ads for you to run the week of March 4 – 10 highlighting the importance of public notices. Space is included at the bottom for you to add your newspaper’s logo. Insertion orders will be sent by Intersect Media Solutions two weeks in advance, and the ads will also be available on the FPA website.
