Public Notice Day is less than a month away! Here’s how you can participate

The Florida Press Association will be recognizing the value of public notices and their positive impact on Florida communities during the third annual Public Notice Day being held on Tuesday, January 28, in Tallahassee. To help make the 2020 Public Notice Day a success, here are three ways to participate and show your support:

Meet with Legislators
We encourage publishers and senior media executives to come to Tallahassee on January 27 and 28 to assist with the efforts on educating our legislators about the value of public notices and the role of the news media in the local community. You are encouraged to set meetings with the legislators from your district on these days, as the members of Florida’s news media comes together to make their presence felt in Tallahassee. (Find your state representative here and your senator here.)

Public Notice Day Lunch
At noon Tuesday, January 28, there will be a lunch featuring a special speaker at the Residence Inn Tallahassee Universities at the Capitol. Tickets to the luncheon are $40. Purchase Tickets
